Did you know that 17% of car owners decorate their ride with some sort of sticker decal? How about that 25% name their car? Here at KW Auto Body we’ve come across our fair share of personalized automobiles. This month on the blog we’re lightening up the top of conversation with 3 quirky auto add-ons.

FRESHENERS

We’ve all used car fresheners in one way or another, who doesn’t like a whiff of vanilla when commuting to work. However, in the last few years, people have switched lanes in terms of traditional smell-good fragrances. With a quick search on the world wide webs, you could easily buy yourself bacon, feet, spaghetti, even turkey leg “fresheners” for your vehicle. While it’s not our cup of tea, to each their own!

STICKERS

Sure, bumper stickers have been around for a while; however, they’ve recently become more outstanding and have extended to other surfaces of the car. Many will voice their passions and political opinions, while others show off their family name or place of heritage. Whatever type of peel-and-presser you are, remember that some states have specific laws regarding sticker placement, be sure to check with your local DMV before placing anything anywhere.

VISORS

Hawaii is basically a paradise filled with endless summer weather. And while we absolutely love the warmth, it usually means our cars are left scorching hot for hours at a time. We highly recommend investing in some sort of dash protector that will not only protect your car’s interior, but also keep your car cool. Visors are typically made to reflect the sun with a shiny silver material, but who says sun blocking can’t be fun! A quick search on Google delivers lots of creative and light-hearted visor options. You can rep your favorite sports team, or favorite animal print all while away from your car.

We understand that your car is a part of your family – even if it smells like a turkey leg. We are after all a bunch of car-obsessed professionals here at KW Auto Body. Remember, if you ever find yourself and your vehicle in a minor or major accident, leave it to us to get you back on the road. We’re always here to help!
