Valentine’s Day will be here in no time, and while you may already have romantic plans for your special someone, how are you planning on saying “I love you” to your car? It doesn’t matter if you’ve known your vehicle for years, or if you just met – there are lots of ways to show how much it really means to you year-around. Below are three ways to show your car some love this February.
1. Keep It Fresh
Keep your car smelling fresh and clean 24/7/365. Enhance every single drive for both you and your passengers with an unforgettable scent and ambiance. There are a few ways to freshen up your vehicle through the year without breaking the bank. For example, repurpose wooden and/or felt Christmas ornaments by adding essential oils to them as car fresheners.
2. Handwash It
Nothing shows your appreciation more than grabbing a microfiber cloth, car-soap and a bucket of water to handwash those hard-to-reach places that a drive-thru car wash could never get to. Don’t forget your vehicle’s undercarriage, wheel wells, exhaust pipes and car door handles – these places are often over-looked in machine-powered washes.
3. Take it For A Joy Ride
Go for a joy ride with your car and simply spend some time with it on your favorite scenic route. Take this time to listen to your vehicle. Is it making any unusual noises? Have any dashboard lights appeared? If you notice anything out of the ordinary, take your “baby” in to see a trusted mechanic or auto body repair person.
We hope you’re able to put these suggestions to use during this month of love. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve had your car, there are plenty of ways to show your appreciation. If your vehicle ends up needing some extra love on the exterior, you know who to call! Happy Valentine’s Day!
