Top Eco-Friendly Cars of 2018

Here at KW Auto Body we’re believers that green is good. With hybrid technology soaring to new heights, eco-friendly cars are on the rise this year. Below are 3 vehicles for someone who’s interested in pumping the brakes on their carbon footprint.

The new Toyota Camry may be the gold standard when it comes to driving green. The Camry not only updated the four-cylinder engine, but also improved the motor allowing a massive 52 mpg on-average. The battery placement has shifted from the truck to the back seat, giving off leg and storage space expected from a mini SUV. This car is great for drivers wanting more space and better mpg, aka everybody.

Hyundai has also raised the bar with its new and improved Ioniq. The vehicle lets you switch between hybrid and full-electric at any point, including while driving. Like the Camry, it gets an average 52 mpg, which blows our minds considering that it is more affordable than most midsize cars. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a 7-inch touchscreen are all standard features of the model.

The Nissan Leaf is last but not least on our list of eco-friendly vehicles. For families looking to go completely electric, the Leaf stands out as one of the best of the best. As for range, its 150-mile capacity surpasses its competitors 100-mile mark which is outstanding. The Nissan Leaf has lunged to the top in terms of electric vehicles and we’re excited to see how the model further progresses in the next few years.

We’re excited about the future of hybrid technology, we foresee a lot of eco-friend vehicles making their way to the forefront of the industry in the next couple of years. We’re also excited that our technicians are trained to provide auto body repair to all shades of vehicles, not just to those that are green. KW Auto Body will always be here to help you and your vehicle get back on the road.
